Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE)
The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education were established through legislation under the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Act, 1975. It conducts the public examinations of secondary and higher secondary Classes and prepare and publish results of examinations.It also grant diplomas and certificates, prescribe the courses of instruction, the scheme of studies, prepare syllabi, curriculum and textbooks for the School Education as per National Policy on Education. The J & K State BOSE Commissioner/Secretary Education and the Director School Education are members of the governing board.
